ROOM 1 – Alpine Fauna There are exposed the principals exemplary of fauna from this area, of which the rare royal owl and the kestrel. ROOM 2 – Brassetti’s Room It is a corner of the museum dedicated to Mrs Luigia Margherita Brassetti, a Sicilian benefactress, who lived in the village of Triora from 1900 to 1926, date of her death. The exposition of her objects includes a sowing machine, a sofa, a gramophone, some books, sacramental objects, ancient photographs, diaries and paintings which document the beneficial activity. ROOM 3 – Archaeology The most important archaeological discovery’s are a revival of the repertory’s found in numerous existent caves, of which the "Tana della Volpe" in the village of Loreto, "l’Arma della Grà di Marmo" in the village of Realdo and the "Buco del Diavolo" un the village of Borniga. ROOM 4 – Art and Craftsmen What makes show in this big room are the wood statues and processional heads of the Fifteen Century. In the showcase there is a nice missal with the reproduction of an antique view of Triora of the ‘700, a collection of the conference proceedings of the Republic of Liguria during the Napoleone’s Empire, of which very important was the proof of the expulsion if the monks out of the village.

ROOM 5 – Memories Historical pictures, few books about witchcraft and demonology, objects of the shoemaker and many more objects that introduce the historical nucleus of the ethnographic museum. ROOM 6 – Wine Cellar All possible objects used from the wine-grower – tubs, barrels, machines for the sulphate, bottles and so on. All this shows important is this activity was during the past. ROOM 7 – Kitchen Here revives the atmosphere of everyday life that is disappearing. ROOM 8 – Milk The so known "Milk Cycle" is represented from objects of pastoral use, like the churn, tiles, milk bowls, cheese or "bruzzu" , sour ricotta cheese to taste on piece of bread. ROOM 9 - Chestnut Chestnuts were for many years the principal meal for families, above all from the shepherds. Therefore is remembered with objects linked to it. ROOM 10 – Jobs A baker, a carpenter and a bricklayer are the most performable jobs with their tools. ROOM 11 – Field’s life The farmer is represented with photos and with some objects of daily use. There are a couple of machineries to grist the wheat, an old sledge, the harness of mules and a cradle to get children away over the head. |

ROOM 12 – Jails In the old jails has been realized scenes about witches and their daily uses, there are some pictures of torture’s instruments. ROOM 13 – Trial Act – Books There are the documents about the witches of Triora and their chase, with the exhibition of original documents ROOM 14 – Witchcraft This is the witches cavern, full of dark shadow regarding famous tortures. ROOM 15 – Garden and miniatures The garden is full of aromatic and medical plants. And the miniatures reproduce the main churches and attractions of the area, like the Loreto’s Bridge and "l’Arma Pisciusa". |
