CETTA

Small groups of houses to the different names, linked from a narrow road, here a wash-house, there a small church, a wood cross, a pretty fountain: this is the village of Cetta. If looking for the origins of this small village is very difficult, to give a meaning to each of the names of the small groups of houses, "Bacin", "Cetta Sottana", "Poggio", "Patatee", "Fundu", "Rieli", "Chiesa", it is really impossible.

Nice smells come from houses, where ladies cook homemade pasta, very different flavours to what we are used to eat in the restaurants, and thanks to the genuine products found in the Valley like the excellent olive oil those dishes are a real deliciousness.

Down to the village flows the Rio ( Stream) Grognardo, which goes to the Argentina’s Torrent, nearby the "Mulino di Mauta", towards waterfalls, and under wooden bridges, all this scenery reminds the history about Triora’s witches.

Giving a look up, you can see "Carmo Langan", which can be reached by a hard path surrounded by green, discovered few years ago by Enzo Bernardini, during his horse journey in the "Real Liguria".
